Responsibilities.

  • Provide QA support for new/existing software applications.

  • Use the Robot Framework, Selenium 2, and Python to generate test scripts for automated regression test suites.

  • Design, implement and maintain clever, creative test cases for Lighthouse client projects.

  • Must have a lot of experience writing test plans.

  • Must be able to know how to start a new test plan on a new project Must be able to ask 1,000 questions when writing test plans so that nothing is missed.

  • Must have a lot of experience working with testing software like TestRail, HP Quality Center, etc... any of the test regression script tools works fine.

  • Have an uncanny ability to find, log and crush bugs.

  • Love collaborating with software developers and project/product managers to develop smart test strategies.

  • Use your mad scripting skills to automate tests using our existing framework.

  • Use Testrail to author/manage/execute manual test cases.

  • Use Jira to track tasks/defects and to manage test projects Use multiple OS platforms (Windows, Mac, Unix) for test development/execution and day-to-day tasks.

  • Query MySQL to validate results/gather information.

  • Work in a 2-week iteration, using Agile development principles

Experience

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of QA experience.

  • You have experience with tools such as Selenium/Watir (or equivalent) You have experience scripting/programming (Python, Bash, PHP, Ruby, Java).

  • You have experience with GIT (or equivalent).

  • You have some experience with MySQL (or comparable RDBMS) You have an understanding of standard web frontend technology (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax).

  • You have some experience with Scrum (or other agile methodology) You have a BS/MS Degree in CS/EE or equivalent
