Job Summary
We are not looking for someone who just documents requirements. We want someone who can walk
into a client room, earn trust fast, ask the right questions, and translate messy business problems into
clear, actionable specs - then stay close to the team until it ships.
What you will do:
-
Own client discovery end-to-end — lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and
stakeholder interviews independently -
Translate business needs into detailed functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria the
dev team can act on immediately -
Be the primary bridge between client and engineering — maintain clarity, flag scope creep, and
keep everyone aligned -
Drive sprint ceremonies alongside the PM/TL — refinement, planning, demos — and keep the
backlog healthy -
Proactively identify gaps, risks, and dependencies before they become problems
-
Use AI tools actively to accelerate research, documentation, and analysis — and help the team
adopt them too -
Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels — from ops to leadership
What you bring:
-
4–7 years as a BA in a software product or services environment — ideally working directly with
international clients -
Strong technical foundation — you understand APIs, data flows, system integrations, and can
read a user story with a dev's eye -
Excellent communication — sharp written skills, confident in client meetings, clear under
ambiguity -
Proven ability to work without hand-holding — you drive the process, you don't wait to be asked
-
Comfortable in fast-moving agile teams — context switches quickly, priorities shift, and that
doesn't unsettle you -
A natural curiosity — you ask "why" before "what", and you question assumptions others have
stopped questioning
Technical Fluency:
Must Have
-
Jira / Confluence
-
User Stories
-
BRD / FRD
-
SQL Basics
-
API Concepts
-
Agile / Scrum
-
Wireframing

Good to have
-
Figma
-
Postman
-
Data Modelling
-
TestRail
-
Miro
-
Process Mapping
AI fluency (non-negotiable):
-
Actively uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in day-to-day work — not occasionally,
habitually -
Can use AI to draft specs, summarize meetings, generate test scenarios, and research domain
context faster -
Thinks about where AI can reduce friction in the client–dev loop and experiments with it
-
Stays current — knows what's new, tries things, brings ideas back to the team
What makes you stand out:
-
You've worked on SaaS products or complex enterprise software — you know what "productionready" means
-
You've managed clients across time zones without losing quality or trust
-
You've pushed back on a client (diplomatically) and were right — and they respected it
-
You have opinions about what good requirements look like — and you can defend them
