Responsibilities.

Develop high-quality software applications using Ruby

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Monitor and patch Ruby runtime and library vulnerabilities, ensuring that Ruby applications remain secure and up to date.

Keep Ruby and its associated libraries up to date, ensuring that the latest features and bug fixes are available to developers.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure that Ruby applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Technical Experience

Must have Ruby on Rails skill
-
Good to have Ruby programming language and related frameworks eg, Ruby on Rails
-
Good to have a Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

Good to have Experience with relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL
-
Good to have Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Good to have Experience with version control systems

In-depth understanding of object-oriented programming

Expertise in Rails

Understanding of agile software development

Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Computer Application will be preferred.

Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience on Ruby on Rails

The candidate with React experience will be an added advantage

Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools

Comprehensive knowledge regarding contemporary processes and methodologies for development
